What is a logo?

A logo is an easily recognized symbol that
represents a business or organization.

A logo usually does not include the
name of the business or organization.

Badges, emblems, and seals are not logos.
These usually contain a lot of information
that can not be reproduced in a small area,
such as on a jewelry item, and still be legible.

Examples of logos.

These two examples would make good jewelry items.

This would not make a good jewelry item,
because by the time it was reduced to
about a 1/2 inch for a collar tack or tie tack
it could not be read easily.

There are two types of logos,
some are all connected together or very close
others have large spaces between elements.

This is an example of a logo that is closely
spaced and can be made as a cut out piece,
like our letters, with no background plate.

This is an example of a logo that has larger
spaces between elements and would be made with
the elements of the logo raised and high polished
on a background plate that has a sand blasted
matt finish.

In order to make a jewelry item from a logo we need
a "Black and White" representation of the logo.
This could be from an envelope, letter head,
business card, or a drawing.

There is a nominal one time set up charge.
The cost of each piece will vary with the size,
quality of gold used, 10 karat or 14 karat,
and the quantity.

Take your logo to your jeweler and have them
contact us for a price quote.
